General Discussion / 1.13 new map checklist

Neo's personal checklist:

1. find a zombie spawner
2. turn it to a drown trap for zombie
3. get trident from drowned
4. make a fish farm
5. make a bunch of water breathing potion
6. build base or start working on guardian farm
7. get a conduit block to breath underwater
8. enjoy the base that i'm building!

just a checklist not in any order particular for what i'm making and what i want to do post your own too sounds like fun!

edit. i forgot to add i need guardian farm first then base then i need a lot of ink sacs for the dark green prismarine blocks so guardian farm then squid farm. :)

does it make sense for underwater buildings to have supports to support them or does it mean the supports keep them from floating away lol?

Getting off-topic, but I'm not going to set a schedule like "I'll start recruiting 1 week after we start the new map". Whenever we have the spawn area setup enough, whenever I have the time and energy to put into it, however long that is lol.  Also, I don't like the idea of forcing parcels, let people build whatever size wherever.

Now back to topic... ;)

i finnaly got something to work with water streams i had to use fence gates since everything else that blocks water is water logged pfft!!!

edit. i also got all the ideas layout on how to make a big base that's underwater everyone will love it or hate it depends on your style it's kinda like a ancient underwater base design not 100% sure not that but yeah it's cool just can't wait till i can play on the new map!

once party happens when we sure we can reset the map to 1.13 how long will be able to play until new members get invited to the map? i was thinking maybe a week so we can get spawn building built and have at least some houses up i also was thinking people could fence off areas of where they want to build so we can have it a tight nit spawn?

Yes, it would be cool to take advantage of Steve's mini-games one last time. No, I doubt I'll bother inviting anyone outside our community, however I do plan on contacting old members and see if they are interested.

i think i want to work early on the nether hub once the new map comes out so we have the tunnels design and i could possible finish the whole thing not like the old map where it got expanded out at some point lol.
